Uttarakhand Development Forum (UDF) is a recently
constituted committee by Uttarakhand government that will assist the government
in drafting policies for sustainable development in the state.
Apart from improving the people’s socio-economic condition,
the Uttarakhand Development Forum (UDF) will also help in drafting policies to
facilitate sustainable development in the central Himalaya
region.
UDF will do its work in collaboration with International MountainInitiative (IMI). This Forum will also work on various issues such as water,
climate change, pollution, immigration, Himalayan ecosystem, energy, etc.
